Overview
Alien 3 is a 1992 science fiction horror film and the third installment in the Alien franchise. Directed by David Fincher in his feature debut, it follows Ellen Ripley after crash-landing on a remote prison colony where she must confront a deadly alien creature once again. Known for its dark atmosphere, bleak tone, and troubled production history, the film has been released in several cuts, but the main original title remains Alien 3.
