Overview
Choujikuu Yousai Macross, known in English as The Super Dimension Fortress Macross, is a classic mecha anime series that debuted in 1982. It combines elements of space warfare, love triangles, and transforming fighter jets, known as Valkyries. The series follows the crew of the SDF-1 Macross as they battle the Zentradi, a race of giant humanoid aliens. Its unique blend of music and action set a precedent for future anime in the genre.
