Overview
Sahaquiel is one of the Angels in Shin Seiki Evangelion, appearing as a massive, floating, orb-like invader during the series’ climactic battles. Unlike human characters, Sahaquiel functions as a near-abstract antagonist whose role is to threaten NERV and force the Eva pilots into a desperate defensive operation. Its overwhelming size, unusual behavior, and destructive power make it a memorable example of the series’ symbolic and apocalyptic Angel design.
