Overview
Zachary “Zach” Deetz is a supporting human character in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. He is one of Sam Witwicky’s coworkers at Epps’ new job and appears as part of the comedic everyday human cast around the central Autobot conflict. Zach is portrayed as a nervous, awkward office worker who helps highlight Sam’s attempts to adapt to normal life after the events of earlier films. His role is minor, mainly serving as background support in the human-side storyline.
