Overview
Professor X is the codename of Charles Xavier, the founder and leader of the X-Men in the Marvel universe. He is a powerful telepath and a visionary advocate for peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants. As the principal mentor and strategist of the team, he guides younger mutants, builds the X-Mansion as a safe haven, and often serves as the moral center of the series. His role is that of a teacher, protector, and political idealist who struggles to achieve harmony through nonviolence.
