Overview
Iroquois Pliskin is a covert identity used by Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. He appears as a U.S. Navy SEAL aboard the tanker and later on the Big Shell, acting as a guide and ally to Raiden. Calm, sardonic, and highly capable, Pliskin helps Raiden navigate the mission while concealing his true identity. He serves as an important mentor-like figure and a key mystery in the story, eventually revealed to be Snake operating undercover.
