Overview
Alm-Onji is the kind and wise old mountain farmer in Alps no Shoujo Heidi. He is Heidi’s grandfather and lives a quiet life in a small hut high in the Swiss Alps. At first he seems stern and withdrawn, but he gradually reveals a gentle heart and deep love for Heidi. He serves as a protector, mentor, and emotional anchor in the series, helping Heidi adapt to mountain life and showing the value of nature, family, and compassion.
