Overview
Krypto is Superman’s loyal super-dog, a Kryptonian canine who shares many of Superman’s powers under Earth’s yellow sun, including super strength, flight, heat vision, and enhanced senses. In the Superman mythos, he serves as a heroic companion, protector, and often a source of warmth and comic relief. Krypto helps Superman in battles, alerts him to danger, and represents the emotional bond between Clark Kent and his homeworld, Krypton. He is usually portrayed as brave, affectionate, and fiercely devoted.
