Overview
Gouken is a powerful martial artist from the Street Fighter series, first introduced as Ryu and Ken’s master and the older brother of Akuma. In Super Street Fighter IV, he appears as a secretive, highly skilled fighter who survived Akuma’s attack and returns to the world of combat. He serves as a mentor figure and a major lore character, representing the disciplined, spiritual side of Ansatsuken. His role is to challenge strong opponents while revealing more about the history of Ryu, Ken, and Akuma.
