Merchant is a playable first-job class in Ragnarok Online, representing the commercial and trade-focused path of the Swordsman line. Rather than a story-specific named character, Merchant is a generic character class known for its business skills, item vending, and zeny-making abilities. Merchants specialize in buying, selling, and supporting party economies through skills like Vending, Discount, and Overcharge. They serve as the foundation for later advanced merchant classes such as Blacksmith and Alchemist.
