Tanukichi, known as Tom Nook in English, is a central character in the 'Doubutsu no Mori' (Animal Crossing) series. He is a tanuki (Japanese raccoon dog) who runs the town’s shop and acts as a real estate agent, helping players build and expand their homes. Tanukichi is known for his business-minded personality, often providing loans to players for home improvements. Despite his focus on profit, he is generally friendly and plays a key role in guiding players through their village life.
