Overview
Ran Makino is a supporting character in the classic anime series Urusei Yatsura. She is a childhood friend and occasional rival of Lum, known for her dramatic mood swings and jealousy towards Lum's popularity. Ran is an alien with the ability to drain life energy from others by kissing them. Her mischievous and often vengeful nature leads to comedic situations, as she frequently schemes against Lum and Ataru. Despite her antagonistic actions, Ran also shows moments of vulnerability and longing for friendship.
