Overview
The Witch-king of Angmar is a powerful undead sorcerer and the leader of the Nazgûl, also known as the Ringwraiths, in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. As Sauron's most trusted servant, he commands the forces of Mordor and is a fearsome presence on the battlefield. Shrouded in darkness and wielding immense dark magic, the Witch-king is a central antagonist, relentlessly pursuing the One Ring and Frodo Baggins throughout the story.
