Overview
Kuribou, known as Goomba in English, is a recurring enemy in the Super Mario Brothers series. As one of Mario's most common adversaries, Kuribou is known for its brown, mushroom-like appearance and simple movement pattern, often walking straight towards the player. Despite being weak and easily defeated by a jump, Kuribou is iconic for introducing players to basic enemy mechanics. It represents the first challenge Mario faces in many games, embodying the series' approachable yet engaging platforming design.
