Overview
Epona is a loyal horse companion in the 'Zelda no Densetsu' (The Legend of Zelda) series. First introduced in 'Ocarina of Time', Epona aids the protagonist, Link, by providing faster travel and access to areas otherwise unreachable on foot. Recognized for her distinct brown coat and white mane, Epona is summoned by playing 'Epona's Song' on the ocarina. Though she is not a main character, Epona plays a crucial support role in Link's adventures across Hyrule.
